Our Mission
Building Blocks Childcare Center is a family-owned daycare dedicated to children aged 6 weeks to 12 years old. Our journey began as an at-home daycare. Over the years we have transformed into a fully operational facility aimed at providing exceptional care and an enviorment built for growth and learning, ensuring every child feels valued and supported.
Building Blocks Childcare Center is committed to fostering early childhood development through high quality care, age appropriate learning, and meaningful relationships. Our mission is to prepare children for furture success by building strong academic, social, and emotional foundations in a supportive environment.

At Building Blocks Childcare Center, our teachers are more than caregivers, they are trusted partners in your child’s growth. Each member of our team is dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing environment where children feel comfortable, confident, and supported every day.
Director/Owner: Lora Hinote
Lora has devoted most of her life to caring for children in someway. Starting as an at home childcare facility, Lora took her passion for child development and created Building Block Childcare Center where she has loved and cared for many children and families.
Infant Teacher: Miss Lupe
Lupe has been a vital part of the team taking care of some of our youngest babies in the program. She has a passion to work with the infant class and spends a lot of time working with them on new skills.
Toddler Teacher: Ms. Monique
Monique has been in the Building Blocks family for a long time. Not only does she help provide a nuturing and loving space for our 1 to 2 year olds, she is very flexible and where go wherever she is needed.
Toddler Teacher: Ms. Dee
As the newest member to the family, Ms. Dee has been amazing with the children. She has spent much of her time working in the childcare setting and has a drive for helping children grow. Our toddles sure love having Ms. Dee around.
Float Teacher: Ms. Tati
3-4 year/ Afterschool Teacher: Mr. Rickey
Tati has been with Building Block for a while now, she is always looking for ways to better the children and their learning environment. She is very flexible and has worked in every room at Building Blocks Childcare Center.
Mr. Rickey has followed in his mother's footsteps and has gained a passion for working with the older children. He loves to do different types of science experiments with the older children bring in his higher level of education and give these children a great opportunity.

Here are the services that we provide!
Infant Care 6 weeks - 12 months
Our infant care programs provides a safe, nurturing environment where babies are cared for with love, patience, and attention to their individual needs. Caregivers follow each child's feeding and sleeping schedule while supporting early development through gentle play, sensory activities, and language-rich interaction. We prioritize safe sleep practice, clean spaces, and open communication with family to ensure your baby feels secure and supported every day.
Toddler Care (1-2 Years)
Our toddler program encourages independence, curiosity, and early social skills in a safe and supportive environment. Through hands-on play, music, movement, and simple learning activities, toddlers build language, motor skills, and confidence. Caregivers provide consistent routines, positive guidance, and plenty of encouragement as children explore, learn, and grow.
Preschool (3-4 years)
Our preschool program focuses on preparing children for kindergarten through play-based, hands on learning experiences. Children develop early literacy, math, and problem solving skills while building independence, confidence, and social-emotional growth. Through structured activities, creative play, and guided instruction, we create a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity and a love for learning.
After School Care
Our afterschool care program provides a safe, structured, and relaxed environment for school aged children after school day ends. Children receive support with homework, enjoy supervised play, and participate in enrichment activitie that encourage creativity, teamwork, and responsibility. We focus on helping children unwind, stay engaged, and continue building confidence beyond the classroom.
